J. Kobayashi and S. Komatsu: A Method for Personal Identification Based on the Recognition of Three-Dimensional Objects, Technical Digest, MOC'03 (Tokyo, Japan, 2003), (2003) 384-387.

We propose a method for personal identification by using three-dimensional objects. The three-dimensional shape of the object is captured as the two-dimensional projected image, and the images including the information of the three-dimensional shape are identified by the joint transform correlation. In order to identify the images easily, we adopt the logarithmic transform of the Fourier power spectrum.
