Resolution of lunar Gamma-Ray image is limited to the order of satellite altitude, and the image severely deteriorates due to the limited number of Gamma-Ray photons as well. In this study, based on the degradation model of a lunar Gamma-ray image contaminated with a certain amount of photon noise, we compare several restoration algorithms to find that the SA algorithm is most reliable. We also apply the SA algorithm to actual Gamma-Ray images obtained with Lunar Prospector and confirm the resolution is improved succesfully.
