Y. Hayashi and S. Komatsu: Blind Deconvolution from Multiframe of Astronomical Speckle Data, Jpn. J Opt. (KOGAKU), Vol. 25 (1996) 345-350.

Abstract: Blind deconvolution based on the iterative Fourier transform algorithm is used to estimate the original object from degraded images through atmospheric turbulence when the point-spread-functions are unknown. We propose an algorithm valid for the case in which a sequence od short-exposure images are given. The present algorithm uses the Wiener-filter based on the simultaneous consideration of all the observation along with the hybrid input-output (HIO) algorithm for nonnegative constraints. The feasibility of the present algorithm is confirmed by computer simulation as well as by the application to real astronomical speckle data.
