Abstract: We propose several new procedures for imposing nonnegativity constraint of Ayers and Dainty's blind deconvolution algorithm. These procedures are simpler than the original one proposed by Ayers and Dainty. We have confirmed by computer simulation that some of the prsent procedures have brought about better results than the original one. We have also applied them to real astronomical speckle data of a binary star to obtain fairly improved results as expected from the results of the computer simulation.
