J. An, M. Hattori and S. Komatsu: Real Time Detection of the Information of the Moving PhaseObject Using Two Wave Mixing, Extended Abstracts (Optics Japan 1996); The Optical Society of Japan, The Japan Society of Applied Physics, pp. 189-190.

Abstract: A novelty filter that uses two wave mixing in BaTiO3 is demonstrated. The output intensity distributionof the novelty filter is examined in terms of the respose time of the photorefractive crystal, as well as the speed and phase difference ogf the moving object. The response properties for temporal, spatial, phase change is investigated experimentally. The possibility of the reconstruction of the input object from the output image is also examined.
