Abstract: The conventional iterative Fourier transform blind deconvolution algorithm is effective when the point spread functions are shift invariant. We propose a new blind image recovery algorithm using matrices that is also applicable to the case in which the PSFs are shift variant. This new algorithm is an expanded method based on the pseudo-inverse matrix calculation using the singular value decomposition. Image reconstruction from blurred images of several original images was successfully performed with this algorithm.
