A wavefron sensor that measures the wavefront of a light wave plays an important role in adaptic optics. We developed a new wavefront sensor using a 2-dimensional diffraction grating with which we successfully measured a light wavefront distorted by thermal turbulence. In this paper, we improve the lateral resolution of this wavefront sensor.
